Competition

Recently you heard about our sponsorship of the International Tree Foundation and our initiative that makes us the first green and environmentally friendly domain registrar. The feedback we’ve had on this has been superb and we’ve decided to celebrate this in the usual NameCheap style… a social media competition!

But we’re not just running one competition. We’re running two with a grand prize of an Apple iPad for each competition. We also have runner up prizes of hosting and domains for 2nd-5th place.

Competition One – create your own video

How better to celebrate our green initiative than to create a video showing how much you love trees, plants and the environment? We’re looking for original, funny, emotional and creative videos of you with planting trees, talking to your plants or whatever else works!

The videos must be uploaded to YouTube and should be 2-3 minutes long. They should be posted as a video response to our video –

Competition Two – we need a slogan for our green initiative

That’s right. We need your creative minds to come up with some great slogans / taglines for our green initiative. We’ve thought of a few of our own but as we know, many minds are better than one.

We’re using Twitter to collect and share the various tag lines and we’ll use the best one on our new website. You must include @NameCheap and #itfnc in your Twitter post. For full instructions, see our blog at
